Common FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Reboot it! Reboot all devices related to the issue. If credit cards are having issues, reboot the credit card terminal and the POS terminal. If devices lock up or display an error code, reboot them first. If the issue persists, give us a call!
Lift the copier lid and find the narrow strip of glass, usually located on the left side. Check for dirt or ink that may be stuck on the glass and clean with glass cleaner. Use a flashlight to help spot the dirt, sometimes it can be hard to see!

Try running a cleaning cycle, found in the printer menus. Voids are usually caused by the printer sitting for long periods and being inactive, causing the printheads to dry out. Running the cleaning cycle forces ink through the system. Sometimes multiple cycles are required.
Most fax issues are not machine related, they are usually phone line related.
Faxes use regular voice lines to speak to each other, just like people.
If you dial a fax number with a regular phone, it should act and behave just like a normal phone line would.
Using your land line or cell you should be able to dial your fax number.
On traditional phones you should hear a dial tone. On all phones you should be able to dial the number, hear it wring, answer/pick up followed by a beep tone and chatter of fax noises.
There needs to be minimal line noise, so popping, cracking, humming or static are all indicators of line issues and need to be resolved by your phone carrier or wiring services provider.
Busy signals or line error messages are the result of the receiving faxes being unavailable or experiencing technical issues, or phone provider issues.
Differences in caller ID number displayed can indicate call forwarding is being used and may interfere in fax reception.
Also if you have an analog phone available, you can test the line coming into to fax by plugging it into the phone and testing all of the issues mentioned above.
